About Me

Having graduated with a 2:1 Bachelors Honours degree in Multimedia Journalism from Bournemouth University alongside achieving a NCTJ Standard Diploma with Teeline Shorthand at 60WPM, I am an aspiring 24-year-old looking to work within the ever-changing world of media. This website will give you an insight into me and my skills in media and journalism.

Studies

My media studies began at GCSE where I first learnt about video and audio production through the creation of adverts.

I then carried on the studies into a BTEC where I used my already established abilities alongside freshly taught skills to produce content ranging from a short film to an interview segment on a Christmas live show.

I then went on to Bournemouth University where I studied in broadcast journalism both in audio and video aswell as developed written skills in subjects such as Sports, TV and Current Affairs.

Experience

I have experience in a number of different areas within media and journalism as you can explore throughout this website. In broadcast, I have developed skills presenting news both live in studio, live on location and pre recorded via packages. Alongside this, I have also volunteered for radio football commentary which included frequent manager interviews.

I have also produced documentaries and podcasts relating to sport which helped me develop my skills both in-front of and behind the camera. Additionally, I have volunteered for voiceover work most recently with the National Trust.

My written work has also been highlighted with self produced articles being published on platforms such as WhatCulture, GiveMeSport, Cultured Vultures, United Flying High and WhatsOn.

Please take time to navigate around my website and learn more about me and my skills.
